Clean and dry the damage

Work in the shade, on glass that is not hot to the touch. Brush out any loose glass around the impact point.

Apply the resin

Drop the resin straight into the chip through the fine precision tip, then lay one of the curing films over the top.

Press out the bubbles

Run the razor blade across the film so the resin fills the whole void and no air is trapped inside.

Cure in sunlight, then scrape

Leave it 10 to 30 minutes in direct sun, or use a UV lamp. Peel the film off and scrape away the excess resin.

Will the chip disappear completely? +

No, and we would rather tell you now. It becomes far less noticeable, usually a faint mark you have to look for. How well it hides depends on the shape, depth and age of the damage. Anyone promising an invisible repair out of a bottle is overselling.

What damage does it work on? +

Bullseye and star chips roughly up to the size of a quarter, short hairline and crescent cracks, and combination breaks from road debris. It is not for shattered glass, cracks longer than about 6 inches, damage reaching the edge of the windshield, or damage in the driver's primary line of sight. Not sure? How many repairs does one kit do? +

Typically four or five small chips, since each kit includes five curing films.

Does it work in cold weather? +

The resin cures with UV light, so it needs daylight. Apply on dry glass above roughly 50 degrees Fahrenheit. On a dull day, a small UV lamp does the job.

When will my order arrive? +
